How Ducati Started?
_______________________________________________________________________________

The Ducati company began as a manufacturer of radio components Because of Andriano's experience with radio tech.

The three Ducati brothers founded the Scientific Society Radio Brevetti Ducati in Bologna in 1926.

The Ducati brothers were very successful through the 1930s but world war II halted production when the Germans occoupied the Ducati factory in 1943.

The brothers had hidden many of their machines, but this was to little avail, since Allied bombing destroyed their stash in Borgo Panigale in October of 1944.

This event forced the three brothers to rethink their strategy while biased on financial  problems and loss of income  resulting  from the war. as a result the Italian government took over the company.

After a gift from the Allies given upon them by bologna mayjor of 12 trucks the brothers decided to change their production because the electronic parts they made before were too complex.

The Ducati company decided to start making four-strokes engines.

What Was The First Model?

_______________________________________________________________________________
In July 1949 Ducati made their first complete model the Ducati 60.

The Ducati brothers owned Ducati until the year 1948, since the hardship forced them
to give up their company to the Italian government.

After the Ducati factory in bologna was destroyed by the Germans forces they built it again stronger and bigger than ever.

The Ducati owner Giuseppe Montano hired a young engineer in the early 1950s named Fabio Taglioni. Fabio designed bikes for racing.

Fabio developed the Grand Sport 100 also known as the Marianna, which became a very popular race bike.

The expansion project in the 1970s included a racing track around the parking
lot to test and improve Ducati bikes.
The track was replaced and upgraded in the year 1996 to make it safer and more reliable because testing the speed and performance of Ducati bikes is still an important part of
Ducati's high standard.
After many years Ducati motorcycles won most of their races including world championships the factory team: Ducati "Corse Racing team" was founded in 1999.
Over one hundred employees worked on this part of the team that located at Borgo Panigale in bologna.
